An act partially repealing Single Ladies (Knowles, 2008) in the context of kdramas.
Section 1. Whereas it has been found that Sections 4-5, 8-9, and 14-15 of Single Ladies contains the following statement:
If you like it then you should have put a ring on it. (Knowles, 2008)
Section 2. Whereas said statement may be misinterpreted to mean that if one likes it AND puts a ring on it, one is entitled to a happy ending with the ring’s recipient.
Section 3. Whereas in kdramas, putting a ring on it DOES NOT automatically assure the ring-putter of the opposite party’s consent and/or affection as clearly stated in laws governing half-nuptials and second lead behavior.
Section 4. Effectivity – this law, in agreement with existing kdrama laws, shall take precedent over the aforementioned passages of Single Ladies.
