VVVVV(V)IP n. In kdramas, a very, very, …, very important person whose importance transcends normal VIPs; an influential person who has absurd demands; a person whose allegiance must be sought at all costs, usually by entering into fake marriages with poor heroines.

alternate forms. VVVIP; VVVVIP.

usage. [1] How dare you not lick the ground upon which our VVVVVIP walks on! Bow down before royalty, you insolent fool! [2] If you help me entertain this VVVIP by pretending to be my wife… I will pay off your uncle’s gambling debt.

If you share this post with 200 friends, a VVVIP will ask your crush to pretend-marry you. If you don’t share this post, you will meet a snotty VVVIP in the next 24 hours. My friend ignored this and had to deal with her uncle’s gambling debt by herself. Ignore at your own risk.

  1. Hi am new i realy want to tell u how every thing you wrote make sense and funny your definitions i read your previous post u r Genius

  2. I absolutely despise those people, rich or not… Wait. The only one I save is Queen Min-sook: Being VVVVVIP should not be synonym of being an ass without a heart (and a brain).
Caution: VVVIP can also mean Valiant Victorious Vampire Impeccable Prosecutor.

    1. Well, not all VVVIPs are annoying. Some are actually nice (like the one in Lie To Me). But most of them have weird tastes/demands. 😀
And yes, The Queen can do no wrong!

  3. Reblogged this on mystisith and commented:
If a (male) VVVVV(V)IP is reading this and needs a poor woman to be her alibi or fake lover, please let your email at the end of the post. Make sure to join your picture. Thanks.

  4. The other thing that I find amusing about VVV…IP’s is the way in which the actors pronounce this. V’s, like L’s, seem to be difficult for Koreans to enunciate. Other than the numerous Korean words and phrases I’ve picked up from hours of drama watching, I don’t speak Korean and am, equally, sure there are sounds I’d find it hard to form. That is to say…I’m laughing with them, not at them.

    Hilarious, per usual!

  5. You’re hilarious unni ,I especially loved “If you share this post with 200 friends, a VVVIP will ask your crush to pretend-marry you. If you don’t share this post, you will meet a snotty VVVIP in the next 24 hours. My friend ignored this and had to deal with her uncle’s gambling debt by herself. Ignore at your own risk.”
    Thanks for making me laugh:)

  6. Found you via Hyun Bin’s Twitter a/c love your humor, I’ve always wondered where the reasonable people were in kdramas. Your mission statement said to abandon all logic and it all came into view. Ahhh…. but now I am cursing fate for finding you, is it not enough that I am hopelessly addicted to kdramas I had to find a blog spot thats equally addictive too. Can I be saved??
