Why My Favorite Blogs Are Quiet

brace_yourselves_nonmeloIs it just me or is drama-land depressing lately? The melos are too melo and the non-melos are :meh: (I’m looking at you, Jeon Woo Chi.)

It’s no wonder then that my blogging friends are a bit quiet and uninspired. Compare that to June this year where if you subscribed to those blogs via email, you’ll drown in all the notifications and you would have died with regret because you hadn’t lived long enough to see this:

So basically, I’m excited for the rom-coms and feel-good dramas starting out (thank you, Cheongdamdeong Alice, for improving; School 2013) and the rom-coms about to come (Flower Boy Next Door, Level 7 Civil Servant).

Here’s to hoping they’ll be good enough to inspire us to write and comment and gush again! πŸ˜€

  1. SO. EXCITED. for Flower Boy Next Door. Have you seen the promos? They’re so cute! And, of course, Joo Won finally doing a comedy. I think it’ll skew more towards comedy than romance, so I’m ready for the funny.

    1. Which promos? You mean the ones where I imagine myself in Park Shin Hye’s place, filming Christmas greetings with Ji Hoon or scrolling through boys in my closet?! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAH~~~~

As for Civil Servant, I’m excited for Choi Kang Hee to bring the funny and Joo Won to aegyo his way through that drama. I love them both and wish they’d have chemistry but am perfectly content whatever happens, as long as it’s not amnesia-ception. πŸ™‚

      1. Yes, totally agree. I’ve had my fill of amnesia for a good long while. Like forever. I’m pretty sure every girl in the world imagined herself in Park Shin Hye’s (fabulous!) heels. Yoon Shi Yoon is my faaavorite, but I like some Ji Hoon in the side. πŸ˜€ The best thing about the Flower Boy series is that they understand what’s important: cute guys. I loved Choi Kang Hee in Protect the Boss; I hope she and Joo won have chemistry up the wazoo.

  2. I, too, am excited about Flower Boy Next Door. I am exhausted by all the tears and the stress. There needs to be some balance. I don’t want silly and light all the time either, but I know that I am not the only one feeling stressed (holiday season and every third person posting about how they are studying for exams or having to deliver a 4th quarter report). Even the actors themselves are under stress (see news about The Great Seer cast going on strike or the early cancellation of shows). I want some warmth and good will. Maybe, I should just put the Flower Boy Next Doot season greetings on permant loop.
